We are happy to support you!

At RKL, we work every day to support sophisticated power electronic systems from the initial idea through to realisation. Our five founders contribute many years of experience and a broad technical perspective – and are not just involved on paper.

We develop, regulate and test – together with our team. We are happy to take on new challenges to shape the future. From ships to trains, from wind farms to solar parks. We have the expertise.

Christian Neumann

Managing Director, Founder

In addition to my traditional duties as Managing Director, I am particularly enthusiastic about the technical work at RKL. This is where the latest research in the field of control technology for power electronic systems and real challenges from industry come together directly. Every project brings new impulses - an opportunity to think ahead with ideas and create innovative solutions that offer our customers real added value.

Managing Director, Founder

As Managing Director, I maintain an overview, promote clear structures and enable our team to fully utilise its strengths. I provide technical support, particularly in analytical service life assessment and load cycle tests - where it is important to demonstrate resilience and reliability.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Günter Eckel

Professor, Founder

A sound physical understanding of power semiconductors and a solid knowledge of control theory are the key to well thought-out, high-quality technical solutions. I try to contribute to this by training young engineers.

Dr.-Ing. Michael Schütt

Head of working group, founder

The combination of theoretical research and practical application is the most fascinating aspect of modern power electronics for me. With sophisticated control algorithms and a systemic view, I am committed to ensuring that complex energy systems characterised by power electronics - such as grid-forming-based networks - function reliably and sustainably. My drive is to push the boundaries of what is possible with technical depth and creative ideas - and thus actively help shape the energy transition.

Dr.-Ing. Jan Fuhrmann

Head of working group, founder

My area of responsibility begins where control signals become real gate voltages. Together we develop control hardware for inverters - with reliable signal transmission, precise analogue measuring circuits and the implementation of our RKL control algorithms. Our strength lies in the deep integration of control technology and power electronics.
